After more than a year away from in-person worship, Pilgrims will be able to worship in-person at select opportunities in May and at each service Pilgrim offers in June. In May, you can attend in-person worship at the outdoor service on Sunday morning, May 2 at 9:30 am, and on Sunday evenings, May 9 and May 16, both at 6:51 pm. In June, you can attend all worship services at Pilgrim in person. Beginning June 1, Pilgrim will stop using Zoom to record and play indoor worship services. Instead, Pilgrim will begin using Facebook Live to broadcast indoor worship live. There is much more information in the May newsletter. Here are guidelines for attending in-person worship at Pilgrim:
Online registration for worship is requested; otherwise please check in with an usher upon arrival. (This is to facilitate contact tracing if needed.) The Sign Up Genius links will be shared via the weekly congregational email, in Pilgrim's Facebook events, and posted on the blog.
Masks are still required for indoor worship, and are requested for outdoor worship. This will help us be welcoming to all who may be just returning to public gatherings.
The SMART Team has also advised that we can safely begin singing together in worship, provided those gathered are wearing masks. For the time being, indoor and outdoor worship will not include singing, except for the June 27 outdoor worship, when we will sing the final hymn together. We look forward to singing together again in future worship services.
Please continue to bring your own bread/crackers and wine/juice for the celebration of Holy Communion.

On Sunday mornings, virtual Coffee Time on Zoom will begin at 11:00 am following worship.
For those attending in-person worship on Sunday mornings, you will have the option to join outdoor Coffee Time in person immediately following worship on the west lawn, weather permitting. This is strictly BYO (bring your own) beverage and snack.
If there are other events following Sunday morning worship, they, too, will be accessible on Zoom following Coffee Time, unless otherwise communicated.
A Note about Facebook Live
Pilgrim will broadcast indoor worship services on Facebook Live. Using Facebook Live for broadcasting is convenient, inexpensive, and reliable. Note: You do not have to join Facebook to access Pilgrim worship services. Pilgrim’s Facebook page can be reached at facebook.com/PilgrimStPaul. Go to the church’s Facebook page at the time of the worship service and click on the video link. (Here is a Facebook Live tutorial.)
