UPDATE AUGUST 4, 2021 ~ During the month of August, the distribution of Holy Communion at Pilgrim will revert to using pre-packaged communion cups with wafers, to remain consistent with state health guidelines. You may also bring your own bread or crackers and wine or juice to the worship service. And, of course, if you join us on Pilgrim's live stream of Sunday morning worship, you may use elements you have available at home. We will keep you informed of any chances in communion practice.
As always, Holy Communion will be celebrated at Pilgrim on the first and third Sundays of each month and on Festival Sundays.
(July 22, 2021) Beginning Sunday, August 1, the distribution of Holy Communion at Pilgrim will begin again. This means that you will have the option during worship to come forward and receive Holy Communion from the pastors by intinction. If you do not wish to come forward to receive Holy Communion, you may continue to receive communion by bringing your own elements with you to worship or by using pre-packaged communion cups with wafers. Pre-packaged cups with wafers are available from an usher when you arrive or at the station near the chancel for receiving communion. Of course, you may also choose to refrain from receiving Holy Communion. As always, Holy Communion will be celebrated at Pilgrim on the first and third Sundays of each month and on Festival Sundays.
