Pastor Lee Ann Pomrenke is an ELCA pastor in the St. Paul Area Synod who most recently completed 13 months as the interim pastor at All Saints Lutheran Church in Eagan. She also writes for Living Lutheran, The Episcopal Cafe and other publications. Her first book, Embodied: Clergy Women and the Solidarity of a Mothering God, was published by Church Publishing, Inc. (the Episcopal publishing house) in September 2020. Her book Embodied draws connections between the dynamics of mothering-while-pastoring, and God's own behaviors in Scripture that are recognizable as mothering actions. We'll talk about the insights that clergy who parent can offer from their own experience, and how the church can fully embrace those gifts. You can find more of her writing on leeannpomrenke.com.
