Special Worship Events

Holy Communion

Communion is offered generally on the 1st and 3rd Sundays during morning worship, 2nd Sundays at the evening Celtic Service, and occasionally during morning worship on the 4th and 5th Sundays. As a congregation of the ELCA, we invite to the Lord's Table all who long to meet Christ in the bread and the wine. White grape juice is available for those who cannot consume alcohol; we also offer gluten-free wafers.

Pilgrim offers children and their caregivers spiritual growth opportunities related to holy communion in preschool, gradeschool, and middle school; and children of all ages are welcome to receive holy communion at any age, as they are ready. Younger children may take communion if parents and sponsors deem them ready, but are encouraged to speak with a pastor about their decision.

Through water and the word, the promises of God wash over us in the sacrament of baptism. Baptisms of all ages occur regularly during Sunday morning worship. If you would like more information about baptism, please contact the church office at (651) 699-6886.
