MLK Day Event

Monday, Jan. 17 - 11 a.m. Watch the event on YouTube.

Attend the Intergenerational, 4th Annual MLK Day "The King Lives - Call Us What We Carry," celebrating spoken word and the living legacy of Dr. Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.!

This intergenerational virtual event will bring together speakers of all ages to re-enact segments of speeches made by a world changer of their choosing. Music and spoken word performances will also be celebrated. It is our collective responsibility to ensure that the words and the stories of change makers continue to be seen, heard, and remembered. We must not forget. Hearing and reciting words creates more hopeful words. Just like Scripture, the more we read, and the more we hear, the more we believe!

If you wish to participate in the event by recording a speech, assisting with chat room monitoring or other tasks, click here.
