Are you experiencing the COVID Blues? So much has changed in our world and in our routines. With these changes come stresses, anxieties and a wealth of feelings that may be new to us – new and yet, normal. Pilgrims have an opportunity to learn from Pilgrim members, Beth McNally, licensed professional clinical counselor and Adam Arnold, licensed psychotherapist, as they share the impact of the coronavirus on our physical and mental health. Beth and Adam, co-directors of Enliven Psychotherapy, bring a wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise to this conversation as they help us understand a) how our whole being responds to the stress of the pandemic and the subsequent changes to our lives, and b) the neuroscience of grief and loss and provide insight into the impact of our grieving. They will also discuss healthy ways to respond and take care of ourselves.
On Sunday, May 17, 6:30 – 7:30 p.m, Pastor Jen will facilitate a follow-up discussion to the COVID Blues audio with Adam and Beth. This will be an opportunity to talk with her and others as we seek to live in healthy ways during this pandemic. To join the follow-up discussion, click here.
