Community Life
Coffee Hours
After worship on Sunday mornings and evenings, Pilgrims gather to meet new friends and greet old friends. Coffee Hours are sponsored and hosted by Pilgrim members.
Midweek at Pilgrim (M@P) Meals
Most Wednesday evening during the school year, the Pilgrim community gathers for a M@P Meal. The menu varies throughout the year, but it's always a kid-friendly choice. All are welcome to this meal, regardless of their ability to donate money toward its cost.
Men’s Breakfast
This group meets every 1st Monday of the month, 7:00 am at The Village Bistro in Highland Park, to enjoy some Christian fellowship.
Lenten Soup Suppers
During the season of Lent, M@P meals become an occasion for volunteer-led soup suppers. Soup Suppers are followed by Midweek Lenten Worship services.
Salt Shaker Dinners
Salt Shaker Dinner groups are potluck meals for groups of six to ten people held in the homes of Pilgrim members and friends. The dinner groups are offered each winter from January to March.
Advent Tea
The Advent Tea is a special Coffee Hour held at the beginning of the season of Advent.
New Member Desserts
At the end of each Pilgrim New Member Series, newcomers and existing members enjoy an evening together at the home of a Pilgrim member.
Picnics and Potlucks
Potlucks are often held connected with summer outdoor worship services or congregation-wide gatherings.
Book Clubs
Groups read and discuss fiction and non-fiction at casual gatherings held in a member’s home.

Films on Fridays
Occasionally, Pilgrim offers a film showing to support a sermon series or an educational series.
Care Ministries
Home Visits
Pilgrims visit members of the community who are ill or find it difficult to be physically present for worship or community gatherings.
Meals for People in Transition
Pilgrims provide meals to other Pilgrim members and friends who are living through a time of transition, for example: the birth of a child, an illness in the family, the death of a loved one, the loss of a job or income, or a move.
Prayer Concerns
Pilgrim members and friends can submit prayers of concern or thanksgiving to the church staff. Prayers are then provided by staff and Pilgrim members, private and confidentially, or as appropriate through the Prayers of the People during worship.
Rides to Pilgrim
Members and friends of Pilgrim who find it hard to transport themselves to church are offered rides by Pilgrim community members.
